KU Kericho Campus is strategically located   in   Kericho   Town at formerly   Mid-West   Hotel, along Kericho-Nakuru Highway. The campus is directly opposite Kericho County Assembly. The serene, evergreen and cool environment of the campus is most conducive for students’ learning for both undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. Since its inception on 7th September 2013, the campus has grown in leaps and bounds.
August 2013 saw the first ever introduction of Institutional Based Program (IBP)   session on our campus, with 7 students admitted for Master of Arts (MA) in Religious Studies. September 2013 Intake for the regular students followed immediately humbly with three undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Education BEd. (Arts), 14 students, Diploma (Primary Teacher Education -PTE), 10 students and Bachelor of   Commerce, 10 students. Two post graduate programmes took off: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MA (Gender and Development   Studies). MBA has grown over time to a cumulative total of 137 students. Indeed, during   the   35th  Graduation  to  be  held  on  20th  December  2013, the pioneer  MBA class of 12  students  specializing in Entrepreneurship will  be graduating!
The December 2013 IBP Session has given more muscles to our profile at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The former has four programmes running: BEd (Arts), BEd (PTE), Diploma (PTE)   and BEd (Special Needs Education -SNE), totaling   to 36 students. The latter has eight programmes: MA (English and Linguistics), MA (Literature), MA (History), MA (Geography), MA (Religious Studies), MEd. (Early Childhood Education - ECE), MEd. (Special Needs Education-SNE) and   MEd. (Curriculum Development), totaling to 91 students.
January 2014, we begin our first ever January Intake for both regular and Open and Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) students. Not even the sky can be our limit.
Our well equipped   library,   coupled    with   a post-modern ICT centre constitutes an essential resource. The   campus   has excellent foods at affordable student rates. Kericho Campus also has unparalleled on-campus and   self-contained hostels.  
Kericho  Campus   will  continue   providing  quality   education  to   western  Kenya  region  with its  dedicated  members   of  staff. In the spirit of the Holy Writ, though our beginning may be small, we are optimistic of a greater future.  This is a place of new beginnings, where all of us are beginners towards great things.
